Costco Australia will sell you cradles, coffins, croissants and, now, cars.

Car broker Autoreviewa has joined forces with Costco to offer members of the warehouse club access to discounted prices on selected new cars.

The joint venture is called Autoconnect. Costco customers can purchase a car from a list of selected vehicles on the Autoconnect website.

New cars are currently available only in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

Savings according to the website range from $750 to $2750 off drive-away pricing.

Vehicles from Suzuki, Renault, Ford, LDV, MG, Kia, Mazda and GWM are among those being offered by dealers via the Autoconnect platform.

If you want to purchase a vehicle, you’ll need to put down a refundable $400 deposit to reserve it.

Costco and Autoconnect also offer both financing and trade-in options.

The most affordable Costco membership costs $65. Depending on the vehicle price, you can receive a Costco Shop Card of up to $300 plus another of up to $300 if you use the company’s recommended financing.
