The annual Burning Man festival has been in the news on the back of heavy rain, flooding, and the sort of mud that renders most cars immobile.

But the Ram 1500 TRX isn’t most cars, as this video from X (formerly Twitter) proves.

The supercharged V8 pickup truck, complete with an oversized caravan on the back, is filmed charging through the muddy desert conditions that stranded thousands of attendees.

Anyone keen to emulate this particular festival goer’s antics with a new TRX will need to get in quick, as the lairy pickup is slated for retirement.

To send off the beefed-up supercharged V8-powered pickup, Ram will produce a Final Edition model, with only 4000 examples being available worldwide. Production is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Ram says this isn’t the end of the TRX story. That suggests a new model is coming, potentially with some form of electrification.
