There are plenty of items you can buy at IKEA to organise at home, but now it has introduced something to help you organise your car boot – and it’s free.

Called the Kör, Swedish for drive, this modular flatpack boot organiser has been designed as a one-size-fits-all unit to fit a typical mid-sized SUV.

There are also six ‘template kits’: the beach lover, sportaholic, adventurer, busy parent, pawrent, and fashion influencer.

If you want to get one of these flatpacks, you’ll need to register online and collect from your selected store between October 7-13.

It’s available at the following stores: Richmond, Canberra, Tempe, North Lakes and Adelaide.

Research commissioned by IKEA found 79 per cent of Australians leave items in their boot, and 52 per cent of Australians admit to having a messy boot.

It also found 25 per cent of Aussies admit to rarely or never cleaning their car boot, with 48 per cent only doing it once every few months or longer.
