Isuzu Ute Australia is celebrating its 300,000th delivery as it marks 15 years Down Under.

“It is quite fortuitous that we welcomed our 300,000th vehicle to an Australian home while celebrating our 15-year anniversary at the same time,” said managing director of Isuzu Ute Australia Junta Matsui.

It reached the delivery milestone in October 2023.

Despite having only two models, Isuzu is one of Australia’s top 10 best-selling car brands.

Isuzu Ute Australia began selling its D-Max in 2008, and the MU-X followed in 2013.

The brand first began with 19 dealerships and has now expanded to over 165 sites across Australia.

Thus far in 2023, Isuzu Ute Australia has experienced record sales growth for both its model lines.

Between January and October 2023, the brand sold 24,677 examples of its D-Max with the vast majority (20,026) being 4×4 variants. It also delivered 11,824 MU-Xs within the same time period.

This year Isuzu Ute Australia has already surpassed its all-time annual sales record from 2021 of 35,735 units, and there are still two months to go.

For the first 10 months of 2023, Isuzu Ute Australia has delivered 36,501 vehicles, taking its total vehicle sales in Australia to 302,801 units.

“With healthy levels of vehicle stock landing at dealers locally and this year shaping up to be the biggest year ever for our brand, we are optimistic that this positive trajectory will continue towards the end of the year as we aim for over 40,000 vehicle deliveries in 2023,” said Mr Matsui.
